Good evening! I'm sorry you found yourself in this situation but maybe my experience can help you a bit. The first medication I got (2 and a half years ago) was Zoloft. It did not really help me and my psychiatrist kept on increasing the dosage instead of giving me something else. Later I switched to another therapist and she told me I should be able to feel a difference in my mood if it's the right medication for me. After talking about my mood swings and my depression and how I don't feel any effect (which I should after taking 100mg of sertraline, daily, for more than 5 months) and she prescribed Prozac. And it has made such a difference! I'm emotionally more stable now and I feel better. Not only that, but it also helped me with my OCD symptoms!
Zoloft did not help me at all. Prozac does.
Meanwhile, my friend is taking Zoloft and they are very satisfied with it. So I guess it depends on your body and how it reacts to it.
You should talk about it with a professional but if you feel like Prozac helped you more than Zoloft, I think you should switch back to Prozac.
Good luck! Sending love
