I am not new to these types of thing. In fact it’s been driving me a bit crazy for the past few days. I can only wear at night because I have family so during the day I can get very frustrated. Luckily I just found out the sink in the bathroom is at waist level and works great when I’m frustrated.

My therapist is the only one who knows and she’s been very accepting and has said as long as it isn’t hurting anyone and isn’t dangerous then it’s fine to use whatever coping skills I find helpful. Sneaking boxes in is not a big deal either. I told my mom they were personal things and I’d like her to respect my privacy and not ask questions and she was fine.

Mine seems to be more related to my autism then anything else. It’s a sensory thing mostly. I do not consider myself a AB
