HI, its not a stupid question. My scars itch me too. I guess it has something to do with the dryness of the healing process? I have had very good luck with an over the counter medication called Mederma. It seemed to stop the itching and it minimizes scars. Try it out if you can. You can get it at any drug store. Good luck.
