i agree with the other wise and wonderful posters! It seems like she is experiencing struggles herself so perhaps it'd be better to simply leave it at that. So Sorry that this happened but unfortunately sometimes relationships simply don't work out and i don't think you did much wrong other than lying about that cousin.
