Yes, PTSD can contribute to several sleep issues. The brain is struggling to figure out how to file the trauma. It's hard when it comes to the brain trying to file the fear that comes with trauma. And it's not unusual for someone to wake up tired from sleeping. It's also common to get cold and hot during sleep too.
