Anyway, we can’t forget physical health is influenced by mental health and vice versa. There are lots of researches about it. I think the problem is with Western Medicine. Many professional still resist to a holistic approach to health.
Having said that I only have positive things to say about my experience with doctors. I even had a primary assistant doctor who guessed my physical problems were somatisation of a depression.
Then, the stomach doctor before telling me that my gastrointestinal problems were due to anxiety and the influence it can has on the digestions, he first prescribed all kind of physical tests before discarding a physical desease. He had no idea about my depressions or anything related to this. Indeed, I haven’t been diagnosed by my psychiatrist by then or take antidepressants or anything similar.
So, I think there are good professionals in general.
