I bought a fancy blender that makes pure soups among other things. Opened it tonight.

While going through instructions, I saw warning to not let children (understandably) and people with “mental illness” operate it.

You can’t operate blender if you have mental illness.? I know they do it for liability but are they equating mental illness with cognitive impairment? But even then I know plenty of cognitively impaired people who operate blenders just fine.

Ridiculous. If someone has OCD or depression they should stay away from this blender??? Obviously it’s not what they meant ...but WHAT did they mean?
