Sorry you failed your test. My brother took 3 tries to get his.
I moved from Maryland to Washington, D.C. and eventually decided to get a license in D.C. which just required taking the written portion and I was rather cocky and didn't think I needed to study or anything, went the day before my birthday (had to have new license by my birthday) and flunked the test. I hadn't realized, since D.C. is a city, not a county, that the rules would be a lot different; I had no clue what the speed limit was in alleys was, for example :-) They had a lot of weird insurance rules too on the test I had no clue about. So, I got the book, studied and took it again a couple days later and did fine.
I'm sure you'll do fine too next time you try, having had the experience and being a bit more comfortable, knowing what it will be like?
