Md, taking care of your teeth is definitely NOT an impulse buy. You know, dental health is extremely important to our holistic well-being. Not to freak you out, but my mom (when she was elderly) had an infected back tooth, which she refused to see the dentist about. That infected tooth eventually caused her to have the stroke that killed her.
Teeth are important - even though insurance companies make us feel like it's an indulgence to care for our teeth! I think it's sickening, how little dental insurance covers.
