Hi!
I am nervous because my family is putting me in a respite care for a couple of days so that they can pack. Some background, I have affective psychosis and a severe learning disability. I can write and speak ok but I have a hard time carrying out activities. My therapist and mom say it’s an issue with executive function. As I mentioned in a separate post I need help with physical needs sometimes, like showering, and managing my incontinence.
I met the couple that is taking care of me and they seem kind, but I am nervous about having strangers care for me. It’s embarrassing.
I hope that all made sense as a lose track of thoughts easily.
