I think the teacher is a real jerk so far. If the teacher is not willing to accommodate students with learning issues, then frankly I'd drop the floristry course and retake it somewhere else with another instructor.
I have dropped classes before, when it was clear to me that my instructor was a real ********e, and I wasn't going to do well in his/her class. I don't see anything wrong with the poster @
