It's the "messy" foods I can't stomach, either...stuff all mixed up with stuff. Yuck
My first actual experience with anorexia (lost weight into very dangerous low) actually was triggered by Prozac. It totally took my appetite away (stress & then weight loss becoming addictive added to it) My pdoc changed my med to wellbutrin after I got out of the ED treatment center but that med like Prozac also kept me from getting hungry & I lost more. Spent several years in & out of the medical hospital having to have IV nutrition through a central line (also not a healthy thing to go through as often as I did)

There were lots of things that caused my extreme weight loss & body image was the least of them. Recovered only when I left the stressful marriage that was the main reason for it. There are so many different things that cause us to find food disgusting. It feels amazing when life finally finds its balance. My major depression & major anxiety have vanished. It is interesting though now when something stressful hits in my life I recognize the anxiety feeling immediately & can finally correlate feeling to cause which I never could do before when I was overloaded on causes
