I got my first vaccine today! I put my name on a bunch of "waste lists" yesterday where they call if they have vaccine that will go bad if not used. I got a call at 2:15 that Walmart had a shot for me if I could be there by 6. No problem. So I went and have one dose of Moderna and an appointment for the 2nd one April 14.

I'm so excited. Being in Walmart was the first time I've been in a store besides CVS to get my clozapine in a year and a week. It seemed so bright and loud and chaotic. But it won't be that long and I'll be able to safely shop and be part of that chaos myself if I want to. I can't wait to just drive to a store and get things if I want them instead of either ordering from Amazon or waiting for our occasional pick-up orders from Walmart grocery.
