Ohhhh Electric ??? I grew up using it, Well we moved here and Gas OMG I love it, When we went to Florida we had electric and I burned stuff left and right. I hate the though of ever using it again. I love my cast Iron , I would have likely started crying..

Your typing seems quite good above. I hope that means you are healing, cognitively. It was worrisome seeing some of your typing difficulties these past several posts.
I didn't mind the grill pan's demise. I would have been more upset if one of my other cast iron pans cracked because they've been in my family for a long long time. The grill pan was comparatively new.
