I am broke now so I am taking my mother a card and an index card with a promise to take her out for Mexican.

My teen son was thoughtful today. I brought home some discount roses and told him I bought them for myself because I am a good mother and he asked if he could pay for them and be his gift to me. I was touched since for the last four difficult teen years he has neglected me on birthdays and holidays. It is nice to see positive behaviors.
