I was upset at the time that my insurance refused to cover them. But they have honestly made all the difference in the world, so they've been worth every penny. Before I got them, every morning it was so painful to walk for the first little bit. It took a little time to get used to the insoles, but once I did, I love them.
The podiatrist also gave me some exercises to do, one of them I stand on my toes on a bottom step and push my heels down to stretch. I think that helps more than the other one, which more resembles a runner's stretch I think it's called.

Thanks Artie. If these other remedies don't work, my next step will be to get a referral to a podiatrist. I understand they can be expensive but not having pain is worth it! Thanks for sharing your experience.
