i was 42 when i decided i was ready to put all of this behind me, it took that long, maybe cos my kids are the age i put a stop to it all ..... i just hope in some way people can see from this post that

1 there IS life and hope and goodness after abuse

2 I don't want anyone to suffer for so long, at 18 you have your whole life ahead, don't let the abuser ruin it like he did mine until now .... I am not stupid, i know this is easier said than done and i have a lot of years on you, but i just wish you happiness and need you to know you can and WILL overcome all the horror you have been through ...... hugs to you sweetie, pm me anytime ....
