For those yet to receive stimulus checks, I'd like to share something I heard on MSNBC (Rachael Maddow). Yes, I now have access to some US TV in Europe. Apparently some on Social Security still waiting for the checks are far from alone. It had been noted and according to Rachael, there was a demand for an explanation and that the info the IRS needed be sent immediately. It has been as of this week, and that the remaining checks in this category should be processed soon. Note the quote below, including what I underlined. Rachael and the Yahoo article explained what appears to have happened. Disconcerting.

"The delay affects Social Security recipients and other beneficiaries who did not file their 2019 or 2020 taxes or did not use the IRS 'Non-Filer' tool for direct payments.
