I used to think it was weird to talk about physical pain in therapy until my therapist told me pain is very real and it effects us emotionally too. I think therapy sessions can help allot with chronic pain. I just bought a book (The Body Keeps Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk M.D.), but have not had the chance to read it.
