i agree with the other wise and wonderful posters. The decision is obviously yours, i just want you to carefully consider what you're doing though. Think about how realistic the possibilities of changing are and how much you're willing to take the risk to be stuck into an abusive relationship. i'd urge him to consider individual as well as couple counseling if he truly wants your Marriage to improve but that is just my opinion.
