I sometimes feel like a failure, too.
I understand where you're coming from.
One time I read a book on optimism.
It said that if we make explanations to ourselves that we are always a failure or whatever, something like that, then we'll be more pessimistic. Not trying to imply that you're a pessimist. Generally, I feel like you're optimistic. So maybe just a bad day or night?
Also there's a point in that book on optimism (and I don't personally know if I agree with this) that says you should explain things that are positive by saying that they are permanently that way (I hope this stuff makes at least a grain of sense).
It's all very good in theory. I would say naturally I am a bit of a pessimist, but that's probably because I'm somewhat rationally-minded. I don't know. Hopefully some of what I said helped.

Thank you, that is helpful.
I just feel like I can't even stay on top of basic things like cleaning, brushing my teeth, showering, etc. I don't know what my problem is. Also, I'm not in college at the moment, so I feel like a failure with that, I won't be able to start again until the fall.
