Well, yet another fiasco. Today is the first day that travelers have to do the hotel quarantine for 5 days and whoever's job it was to calculate how many travelers are coming in and make arrangements with hotels screwed up. People are stuck at the airport waiting for transport because there aren't enough rooms! the airport is getting crowded. Who knows how much Covid is circulating there?

Both my husband and I just had to laugh a bit at the absurdity, stress relief I guess. Just another day down the rabbit hole with a completely inept government. Here we say "tragicómico" both tragic and comical at the same time. I sure there are plenty of empty hotels that would love to strike a deal to receive these travelers. It would not have been too hard to have some extra rooms in reserve to make sure everyone is covered.
