It is really draining to work at a place going through that kind of upheaval, even if the new management turns out to be a positive change.
I read a career book recently that had an eye opening exercise. I am forgetting the details but it was basically like this: Draw out a map of all your jobs (or make a list). Look at each one and think about why you took that job. Money? Convenience? Passion? Friends who worked there? I was shocked at how many of my job decisions have been made based on proximity or just being offered a job, whether it was something I wanted to do or not.
If you leave, do you have to get another job?
