Soupe du jour...Congrats on the grill, but my condolences on the assembly required. I'm horrible at such things...a regular mechanical idiot! We even have a handyman who assembles our IKEA-like stuff for us.

BethRags...I'm so glad you're finally back on the road. Being without a car must have made the suffocating nature of the pandemic even more intolerable. I hope you achilles tendon is 100%, too.

Jennifer 1967...I'm glad you will have a relaxing Easter alone. As far as seeking help with your aging parent goes, that's a great idea. Such issues can tear families apart if resentment starts to build. You're very wise to nip this in the bud.

Moose72...I'm glad you got your eyes checked. Although there wasn't much change in your prescription, it's important to have regular check-ups. Glaucoma & other eye diseases can creep up on people in a short period of time. Nice picture, BTW!
It will just be my partner & me for Easter this year. Since I've never been a Christian, it's no big deal, but my partner was raised Polish-Catholic, & Easter has always been a big event in her family. Since Michigan now leads the country in the number of Covid cases per capita, that's even more reason to avoid hosting super-spreader events. Since it's Good Friday, I'm going to make a tuna casserole for dinner...my partner won't eat meat on Fridays during lent. She's a "lapsed Catholic," but she claims being Catholic is akin to being Jewish. It's hard to shake the cultural aspect...
