pegasus, I process by writing in my journal or just by being open to thoughts and feelings that come up after the session in relation to what happened. Sometimes new stuff can come up even days later. I think I am a slow processor. It is good there is a week between sessions to allow for processing. Sometimes after therapy I am left with vague feelings--some anxiety, fear, uneasiness, joy, anger--could be many things. I like to then think back on the session and follow these feelings to what caused them. What in the session provoked this response in me, and why?

I think everyone has their own way of processing, pegasus. Often, it just kind of happens. How do you usually process a session? Part of processing can be revisiting the topic or conversation in your next session.
