Our weather is generally a day behind yours, @Nammu, so there's a possibility of a few snow flurries here tomorrow morning! Nothing will accumulate, but I might find myself mowing the lawn in the snow. I get my second Moderna vaccine Monday. I'm glad to hear you didn't have any ill effects from your second dose. I'm hoping to dodge the bullet, too. These words to fate's ears, may your second vaccine go off without a hitch, too, @BethRags.

I won't complain about our weather, @Soupe du jour. From what I've gathered from news broadcasts, there's been a polar vortex hanging over much of Europe the past month, or so. While we were enjoying temps near 80F, they had measurable snow in Germany. I hope your mood isn't suffering too much. Between your lack of sleep, physical pain, Covid lockdowns & the slow AstraZeneca rollout in Europe, you're bearing quite a load. As a sidenote, I, too, don't always enjoy some of the food I prepare...despite the fact it's sometimes fairly good. Strange...

There's been little change in my mood. Given my low tolerance for my own whining, however, I won't reiterate what's been going on. Coping skills have been of no use & I've not added any meds, but I do have my regular appointment with my pdoc on the 27th. Hopefully I won't be too big of a "richard" before then.

One thing that did help today was my noon Zoom AA meeting. The reading about was self-pity. I realize there's a big difference between mental illness & self-pity, but the reading emphasized focusing on those less fortunate than you are. Given the news in recent days, I feel gratitude that I don't have to "drive while Black," or otherwise deal with the police as someone with dark skin. I know police have a difficult job, but something is seriously wrong...
