Was sick from sat - tues. fatigue, awful headache, nausea. But the nausea was more like motion sickness. I was fine laying down or sitting at work but driving or moving around was ugh. I decided to finally make an appt with my dr to get the ongoing vertigo checked out. About time, it’s been going on for a year. I just hate going to the dr, I’m afraid he’s gonna want to send me to a specialist and I just don’t have time to take off work. Only 10 weeks until summer break though so I can start scheduling appts for July/august!
Work is going really well since I recovered from the month long depression. I love my student, she’s so freaking cute. I’ve developed enough of a rapport with her to manage her rudeness and attitude toward teachers. Most of the time I only have to give her one warning. She also listens to me when I give her suggestions on her work. She used to just do whatever she wanted.
I did find out my female cat has asthma though. She’s on a course of oral steroids which I hope to hell works because kitty inhalers are super expensive! But one of my friends says her cat has only needed theirs as a rescue inhaler so she’s had the same one for almost a whole year. I can drop $200 as a one time thing but not every month!
Things with my family are cordial. I simmered in rage on Saturday but it’s just not worth it to be so mad about something that will never change.
My general mood is ok, not exactly happy but no depressed either so I guess that’s good!
