I assumed too much! Loading & unloading the dishwasher should be no-brainer chores. My partner does much of the cooking since she's a better cook than I, but the dishwasher is my own private domain! I've got loading & unloading down to a science. Hunger can be a great motivator! Why don't you see what happens if you get your husband's jaws wired shut for a week!

I'm glad you're pleased with your new glasses, @whatever2013. I've been putting off getting my eyes checked during the pandemic, but know my old script isn't really working anymore. I generally just use Costco readers (3 pairs for $20) these days. My prescription glasses just steam up when I wear a mask, so it's not worth the hassle.
