I haven't taken it but just wanted to say not to be scared. I was so afraid of clozaril because it sounded scary. "Drug to be used as last resort"...what did that mean? Was I THAT sick? How harsh would it be if it was to be the last resort?

It was fine. I am fairly stable on it, I don't hate it at all and after 5 years I trust it completely. I also know now that I needed this drug. It was exactly what I needed even though I didn't necessarily want it.

Hopefully it will help you get some relief.

I'm so glad you called your pdoc. I hope you feel better about doing it in the future now.

Also, don't forget not to judge the thorazine for the first week or two. It may hit harder and then lessen. I've had plenty of meds do that before and it's frustrating to wait it out but unfortunately necessary.
