Good thing you have faith. It just plain sucks when life throws us a curveball like what you have described. A lot of people have lost their jobs and businesses due to Covid. And there have been a lot of divorces too.

You have to rebuild your life and now that it’s starting to improve due to Covid vaccines it will begin to open up some avenues to be around other people more. You are not a failure. You did do well. This is not the past even though at times you feel vulnerable like at times in your past. Keep looking for a job and accept that you may not experience a starting pay equal to what you had. You have skills and build your way up again in a new company.

Keep the faith and try to find activities where you can make new friends. The world if full of people and you are not alone.
