Bebop, I'm sure you have talent, in areas of personal connection, since I so like to hear from you!
I'm just so tired right now, and it still hasn't sunk in to me that I no longer have to have a project in the works for one of my class deadlines. I've actually come down with a bad cold today, and I think it is a result of all the stress of getting the work and show done.
Friends have told me I could do this kind of work, sell it, and stop teaching...LOL! I know how hard it is to make a living as an artist, and I have seen grown men have heart attacks after art/craft shows when they didn't have good sales. Of course, this work would be in galleries, but galleries double the price. Been there, done that!
In the end, I'm lucky to have a job which pays retirement and benefits, I think, but I will see what I can do with all these pieces crowding my guest room!
