Have you narrowed down what the focus of your Ted Talk and/or documentary might be? Bipolar disorder and stigma are huge topics. I'd be interested in some of the strategies you've used to "make lemonade from lemons". Also, many with the disorder struggle to achieve goals. Kudos to your cousin for achieving his despite the illness.
I’ve been so busy with school I haven’t ad a chance to come back and reply! The school year is almost over. We only have a short summer this year though.

For topics on the Ted talk, I want it to be about teaching and how much I love the profession and the fact that I never had a manic episode during my career, I want to go into late onset bipolar and how it has impacted my life but not my teaching. I’m exactly where I need to be to flourish and I think for every person with bipolar they can too if they are in the right career! I do hope to remove some of the stigma associated with the disorder!!

Yes I am so proud of my cousin! He gives me strength knowing that he has overcome this as well. It helps keeps me on the right path.
