I’d say it depends on what’s timely and what’s the email. I recently had my T say she’ll email to check in over the next few weeks. And she emailed around 3 weeks later. Had she not emailed, I wouldn’t be bothered, bc I didn’t need anything from her.

If it was about getting information that was pertinent to something, then I’d wait a couple days and check in.
