And you'll be more surprised by the stories told here if the vets can get their fingers to tell about what caused their ptsd.
Please, everyone remember, the horrors we will hear about are real life stories, not polished by Hollywood. And some of the most triggering things for combat vets are the simple things of life, not necessarily the blood and gore.
Please don't think anything less of any of the warriors who tell their stories. It is hard to do because some of us feel like it is being disloyal in some way ... maybe illogical, but that's the way it is for some.
And thanks to all of the warriors AND the warrior families who sometimes suffer as much or even more than the warriors themselves.
