Hi all.

I took my son to his first K-day today where he meets the teacher, the other kids in his class and does a project, etc. OMG!!!! It was one of the best days of my life to share this very special day with him, but at the same time it brought tears to my eyes. He will be leaving me everyday, starting school, growing up just so fast.

Any of you going thru this now? Or remember when your kids first started school? Want to share your feelings?

When I went to the classroom to pick him up, he said a loud "Mommy". I could tell he was so proud of himself. He handed me his project. He had made me a sunflower from ratted paper he had cut on his own. It was wet and sticky from glue and the petals were all smooshed together on one side. THAT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOWER I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! Made with love, innocence, and just plain happiness.
Today was a good day!
