@scatterbrained04 and @whatever2013...I hope you get your sleep issues solved soon.

I don't mean to rub anything in, but I have an in-person appointment with my therapist in the morning. I'll discuss the situation that continues to go on concerning my pdoc to see what she thinks. I just don't think I am getting all the help I need from him.

Also, this past week was my first week tracking my points for WW. I lost 5.8 pounds when I weighed in today. In June 2019, I had lost 89 pounds, but gained virtually all of that back during the pandemic. My b-i-l, the doctor, says yo-yo dieting is very unhealthy. WW isn't so much a diet as it is a lifestyle commitment, though. Since I reached my lifetime goal the last time I attended meetings, I only pay $15 a month. AA helps me keep the plug in the jug, so I feel support group meetings suit me.

Have a great day, all. Sorry I don't post as often, or as thoughtfully as some folks do these days.
Congrats on the great first week weight loss, buddah1too! First week results are often a great motivation booster. I seriously need to start tracking, myself.

I have done Weight Watchers on about four occasions, in the past. My absolute favorite times were when I followed their former "Core Plan". That was definitely an eating lifestyle. I found the various solely points-based programs a bit less so. I was a bit too lazy to count every single point, so the Core Plan allowed for a little less points counting. It focused on lean meats, whole grains, and other healthful eating, something some solely points based programs don't mandate as much. I really should try a Core Plan type program again. It was my husband's favorite program I followed. He even lost some weight, though he just ate what I cooked and didn't actually count anything. Lucky him!

Hubby and I have both put on weight at times during the pandemic. I haven't weighed myself for about a month or so. I feel and see a negative change. Not knowing for sure sometimes gives me license to keep ignoring the issue. I used to blog about my diet/exercise efforts, but haven't for many months. The blogging was a motivator for me. I should continue that. The stop and go of that clearly shows "yo-yo dieting".

As you likely imagine, Czech traditional food is far from spa cuisine, and yet on average Czechs are trimmer than Americans. That's because they exercise more.
