This morning I emailed my two supervisors telling them that I want to resign. It took a little while (about two hours) to get a reply back. One supervisor asked me if there's anything they can do for me to keep me staying on. I replied back that I wanted to talk on the phone instead of messaging. One supervisor has to travel for work this week and would not be able to talk, but the other one will. So I made an appointment for Tuesday morning.

I had mixed feelings about doing this. I wanted to to leave and had made financial plans on how I can do it in the worst case scenario. I'd be looking forward to having some time off for myself, but yet I'm scared if this is going to work out. I'm not interested in getting another job because I am just too burned out emotionally. I really wished that it didn't come down to this.
