@sarahsweets i would say walking, and stretch after you walk. And get acclimated to heat and staying hydrated as much as possible. Do you use a hiking stick? I find one helpful, esp if there are going to be hills.

And read an Everest book! One, because i like them, and two, to learn about making decisions under extreme physical stress? One is hot, one is cold, but its all the same really.
