Food and depression seem like a chicken and the egg for me. I go through phases of being overweight and find that's when I also tend to be depressed. Which comes first, the fat or the depression? Oddly enough, now that I feel like I am coming out of a depressive spell, I have zero motivation to cook elaborate projects. I just want to make something quick with little cleanup and move on with my life because there are more interesting things to do.
