Oh, favorite breed? There’s sooooo many. Most are larger breeds. Massives, the working dog group and most of the herding dogs. But I’d go with a mut from a shelter. Less likely to have inherited physical illnesses. My dog growing up was half old English sheepdog and half English setter, she looked just like a bearded collie. Smart, so smart. I’d take a bigger dog.
