Not only that, but it's not Mothering Day in England, they missed that by a couple months! Little insensitive to "local"/person's customs :-)

When people hurt me with well wishes, I always try to give them credit for doing it because they love/like me? It is hard for other people to fit inside our shoes and/or know which way we feel about something like that. You have wonderful children for whom you're doing the best you can; take people's well wishes as acknowledging and applauding that?
