It's hard to keep those emotions in control. My daughter completed her first year of college this year. The weekend before finals, I went and packed everything up that she wouldn't need so all she had to do was throw a few clothes in a bag and grab her TV (apparently couldn't live without that for 4 days). She promised to call before she left, when she did she was just sobbing. She'd grown very close to her college "family" and was really sad to leave.

As we end one experience of our lives, it's sad to see it end. Nothing will ever be the same again, it'll be better! I've been out of high school 20 odd years, and that graduation song by Vitamin C still makes me cry, brings me right back.
