i agree with the other wise and wonderful posters that it may simply be better to mov eon perhaps. i am not sure if he's hiding something but it seems like he has made it clear that he's not interested. He may be coping with his Losses still too. i think it may be better to take him on his own words. If simply talking to him makes you feel infatuated perhaps cutting off contact may be a better option? i am not sure.
