Did you take paracetamol before being vaccinated?
I have been recommended to do it by a friend of my sister who is a nurse.
I'm so relieved! When I checked the regular vaccination centre last night, there were finally some appointments available but not until the end of July. Now I just have to wait 2 weeks and I will be considered fully vaccinated Just hope I don't die from VITT, obviously.

I didn't take paracetamol - it's actually recommended against because it might affect your immune response. Someone in our group for the talk with the doctor actually asked about it and he also said it's best not to take anything before getting the vaccine. Afterwards is fine though.

Do you have to have a doctor inform you about the risks in other countries? I asked my parents and back home you only have to talk to a doctor before your vaccination if you answered yes on any of the questions on the form you get before. Here it is mandatory for everyone. On top of being handed reading material you also have to sign. And not just for J&J but all the available vaccines. (Imagine my shock when they put 4 total strangers together around 1 table to have this talk ) At least it gave you something to do while waiting in line, though It was a loooooooong wait.
