1. Remind myself I can always ask for and take medication to make me a zombie, no pain, no problems
2. Start thinking about where I've put the crisis centre's contact details (phone number/address)
3. "Come out" in front of loving family members about being suicidal
I've not had suicidal thoughts/feelings in a while but I promised myself these are the things I will think of right away if I am ever acutely suicidal
