I really hope it's not that the vaccines are not very effective against the Delta variant. That would be very bad news for all of us. Here, the border being closed to most entries has supposedly kept it out for now, we can't keep that closure going forever. |
Yes agree it would be good to know more specifics - no they haven't indicated if any of the people were 14 days or more past 2nd vaccine but they have said they'd had both doses. No explanations given for the increase other than for some people the vaccine just wont work very well and we are now confirmed as being in a 3rd wave so it's spreading again and finding the vulnerable like it does.
I too hope it's not to do with this Delta variant too. Going to have to watch and wait again. This feels never-ending though.
