My husband (RN) recommends people try this type of course and CNA certification first if they consider medical field as a career but aren’t 100% sure. Some people jump into getting nursing or medical degree before they know they can handle the type of environment and tasks.

Having said that (sadly and unfairly) nurse aides jobs are very low paid in the US and it’s impossible to make a living unless you work two jobs and even then it’s not sustainable
