Hi @Piper22 - welcome to MSF My Support Forums. I am sorry that you are parenting without your spouse. Parenting even in a well balanced relationship can be challenging. Plus your son may not talk about it, but he may be heartbroken that his parents are not together anymore.

Maybe coming up with activities he likes might make visits there more interesting. Sports, museums, visiting relatives, doing things that support his hobbies. Only you can know what works for you and your son by sensing what he may be interested in and talking to him.
