Really nice and ambitious goal. If you can react in a neutral way (rather than negative), I think that's already a big goal. Maybe try to start with that first.
And yes....PTSD is a b**ch, it's trivial for you probably, but yeah, it takes practice to separate the past (emotion) from the present (situation). I wish you good luck with all this.
