I had another long week that didn't feel very productive. My apartment had some flooding from the rain and it ruined my sofa and a nice rug a friend game me years ago that were in the lower level. I had a doctor appointment on Tuesday and got a referral that hopefully leads to a new therapist that is covered by insurance. Wednesday and Thursday I stayed in as I felt like I was getting the flu (stomach and head ache). Today I finally motivated to follow up with my renters policy to get my water damaged things looked at to see if they can be dried out or will need to be replaced.
I feel better physically and mentally that I made the phone calls today and will have the water damage behind me after the service company comes on Tuesday morning and the housing inspection is completed. It's been very stressful for me, but I'm feeling better that I addressed the issue.
My tasks for the weekend is to:
1. Still finish the report from client interviews (I need to get this behind me..I've procrastinated badly for over a month on this one)
2. Finish completing the paperwork for the insurance claim of water damage.
3. Write another email to the management company about correcting the water leak (this has happened before).
